Bitterness is that fretted and irritable state of mind that keeps a man in perpetual animosity - that inclines him do harsh and uncharitable opinions of men and things - that makes him sour, crabbed, and repulsive in his general demeanor - that brings a scowl over his face.       1. It is sin

            Wrath is not necessarily sinful but when it is fed by bitterness.

      5. God sometimes singles out a particular gender and brings to our attention areas of improvement. Don't call your wife "honey" and then act like vinegar.
