3:1-4 The cause of conflict is carnality
Heb 5:12 through the first part of chapter 6.
The carnality flows from our infancy
The evidence symptom indicator of carnality is that we are at odds with everyone around us. A persistence of doing it my way.
Carnality is a self-imposed condition.
v5ff Paul points out the "party" spirit that existed in the church in Corinth.
v5 Paul addresses the issue of elevating any particular person. "Who is Apollos who is Paul?" Servants both of whom through they believed; each of whom drew attention to and opportunity from God.
