Inderjeet Mani

IDr. Inderjeet Mani was born in India in 1955, and came to the U.S. in 1979. He worked as a computer scientist and linguist. He also wrote non-fiction and fiction.

He published quite a few research papers, and several books:

Advances in Automatic Text Summarization (co-edited, MIT Press)

Automatic Abstracting Methods (John Benjamins, to appear)

Journeys (a travelogue, to appear).
