199 pages
Setting Description
This story mostly takes place in Montana at Camp Echo Mountain. Elizabeth and her twin sister Jessica are going to spend the next whole month at the camp and are going to be junior counselors. It is a preforming arts summer camp. It took them forty-five minutes to reach the camp from the Montana airport. When the car had finally emerged from the forest the girls squinted against the bright sky. As they started to reach the camp, they noticed the expansive valley that was a huge field of lush green grass speckeled with yellow spots of blossoms. Across the field was a placid blue lake in the shape of a lima bean. A huge dark mountain was straight up behind the lake.
Character Description
The main character in this book is Elezabeth Wakefield. Elizabeth has an identicle twin sister named Jessica. Elezabeth and Jessica both are sixteen years old, have the same bright blue-green eyes and slim, athletic figures, and they even share the same dimple in their left cheek. But their different personalities are immediately obvious from the way they wear their good looks. For example, even though both girls have classic California silky long blond hair, Elizabeth almost always wore her hair pulled back in a clip or in a ponytail. However Jessica prefers to were her hair down. Jessica loves fasion trends and is a stylish dresser, but Elizabeth, on the other hand, dresses more on the conservated side.

Elizabeth knows Maria stole it.
Resolution to Problem
Fortunately one of the kids taped an argument between Elizabeth and Maria. In the tape Maria addmits that she stole the play. She said, "You'll never be able to prove that I stole your play, so you might as well give up trying." Jessica finds the tape and watches the argument. She shows it to everyone and everyone begins to be nice to Elizabeth again. Maria forgives Elizabeth for saying bad things about Maria and they become friends again.
Recommendation
I really enjoyed this book. I actually liked reading it and I had fun doing so. I recommend this book to eleven to fourteen year old girls who like reading. Now I can't wait to start the second part of this three-part miniseries!
