In these pages -under infinite construction- live the hearts, souls and thoughts (in essence: the dreams) of some very important people to me. They have not only inspired me to create this web site, but have more importantly helped me realize once again what life is really all about, something which I sadly lost with my childhood. They have given me the hope, courage, and the will to unite with them, and those of you, who still believe in dreams. Those who, in spite of all the hatred, violence, intolerance and hypocrisy that surrounds, erodes, and consumes our very existence, still believe...or dream...that there is still hope for mankind. We, the virtual warriors (¿¿¿madmen???) of humanity, are...Siwa, Ruben, Spike, Skywalker, Gaby, Polar Boy, Guitar, Makila and myself, Juan. We would also like to welcome aboard the latest madman, Calvinjorge, a young man whose spirituality lies in the moon and the stars, if our friend Shakespeare was here to introduce him he would undoubtedly say, "...take him and cut him out in little stars, and he will make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with night, and pay no worship to the garish sun." How can I, a mere mortal poet, top that???!!! :-)
We know that we are not alone. The universe is filled with dreamers that, for one reason or another, are oppressed or repressed. Our army will grow, multiply, and like the seeds of love, compassion, respect, and understanding that we must all plant and cultivate, will spread their roots and take a stronghold on the forces that attempt to strip us of our freedom, our dreams...our humanity. Do you feel you have what it takes to make a difference in your life or in the lives of those that surround you? Well some minor updates to this section have been realized...I know, it's not worth writing about buy hey something is something! The Spanish section is growing at a pace much greater than this one and I cannot keep up with the translations...sound familiar??? That four letter word...you remember...(WORK) is slowly but surely diggin' it's ugly paws deeper and deeper into what used to be my personal time...and I fought so hard to regain some of it back too!!! Oh well...if my twin brother is out there somewhere, and he is reading this insanity, PLEASE COME BACK HOME!!!! I need a break and you are my last hope Obi Juan Kenobi :-o
The latest news on the Madmen-in-Triaining frontline...we have welcomed aboard three new recruits last month and this month one more has joined our midsts. Once again, please join me in welcoming aboard the latest madman, Calvinjorge!!! He has been a loyal follower ans supporter of our cause and now he has finally gotten off his duff and joined us :-) For now his section is only in Spanish (although his English is not too shabby) and waits patiently for my translating services...
Some very good news for all of us that have been praying for the female touch to these pages...IT'S ALMOST HERE!!! I have recently had the pleasure to meet yet another wonderful person from the internet and she is very excited and looking forward to joining our little band of merry men...although things might change a little around here (no more messy pages, broken links, no more biting or barking at the guests so loudly, AND we may even be forced to eat all of our vegetables from now on :-o (just kidding Patty ;-)))) All kidding aside, our prayers have been answered and I am sure that all of you will enjoy her texts, poems and overall perspective on love and life as much as I have...
