Music, Movement, Maiden

In Reflection of Dance

A Poem by Laurence David Sterling III

Dance is the wedding of music and movement It is mortality freed by sound Released to move at the will of something greater A dancer never dances alone She is embraced by song Set in perfect harmony With her heart Her body flows with the melody In unrestricted movement Rushing forth A torrent spring Gushing from the mountain side Then running lovingly Into the adoring arms of a mighty river. Once released It cannot be stopped Once unleashed It will not be composed Music, Movement, Maiden Three as One Joyful Trinity
