that the sheer size of it is exactly what would bring the empire to its knees.  The Mongolians were some of the most intelligent warriors of the time and yet they were the most barbaric as well.  They were extremely ruthless but still in many ways they had one of the most advanced cultures of that era.
  The main purpose of this site is to fulfill the requirements for a school project but I also sincerely hope that people will visit this site to learn about the Mongol Empire, which is very often left out of Western culture history books. 
    This site is intended to give you an overview of the great Mongol Empire.  I think once you find out what the Mongol Empire was really like you will come to understand it and enjoy it.
