I want my web site to be a reflection of who I am but until it is more detailed, I will fill in some of the missing pieces.
I could describe myself by what I do for a living. I am just starting a new job at Amazon.com, the "world's largest bookstore," here in Seattle. I will be working in the customer service division, handling email, phones, and working to make my stock shares more valuable. I also teach the children's (ages 4 -5) pre-skills classes at Emerald City Aikido.
I could also describe myself by where I live, which is near downtown Seattle. Capital Hill is one of Seattle's more colorful districts. I pay rent in a shared house, living with three others and my dog Mocha. I moved here from Santa Cruz, CA in the winter of 1993. Yes, Seattle is gray and yes, it does have a coffee stand on practically every block! I love it here.
I graduated from San Jose State University with a BS in Physics. I since dropped out of graduate school at Stanford. I have traveled to Europe twice and the Middle East once, shortly after the Gulf War. I try to be a consistent war tax resister and I almost always vote third party. I read and enjoy such radical books as Tolstoy's "Government is Violence," and love movies with anti-war themes, such as Dr. Strangelove. I am full of contradictions and complications, but that is nothing new. One of my lifetime goals though is to reduce those contradictions and simplify my life, at least internally. If you would like to know more about me, contact me via email or sign in my guestbook with your specific questions. Have fun exploring my web site and let me know you have been here.
