The title of this page is, of course, a reference to the film Dr. Strangelove. Like the nuclear warhead, the web is another powerful technology impacting virtually every person on the face of the Earth. Unlike the nuclear paradigm of central control, however, the internet and world wide web defies easy centralization. So powerful a weapon, at least one Asian government has banned unlicensed modems. You have to love the web for those two reasons alone!
But to really get to know and love the web, you need access to it and space on it.
