Sun Aspects to Mercury
Note: There can be no other aspects between these two planets since they never get more than twenty-eight degrees apart. Thus, there can be no disharmony between spirit (Sun) and consciousness (Mercury).
Sun Conjunct Mercury: You're a forceful thinker, putting your will behind your thoughts. You're quick-witted, creative, ambitious and impulsive. Your mind may be detached from your personal feelings or your self-expression, but you have plenty of mental stamina. You can be reflective and introspective at times, but you can also be egocentric, dogmatic, stubborn and biased, especially if the conjunction is less than five degrees since this contributes to mental inflexibility and causes a breakdown of communication and thought processes. This also hinders your objective self-analysis since your mind and ego are so closely identified with each other. You're apt to be selfish without realizing it since your thoughts are focused more on yourself and not on others. You'll do well as a teacher since you have good communication skills.
