There is quite a divergence of opinion amongst the international Asatru community with regards to questions of race. In particular whether people of Non-Northern European Ancestry can be Asatru at all. The New Zealand Asatru Fellowship places itself very much 'in the middle of the road' as it is believed within the group that the primary pupose of an Asatru kindred is to worship the Gods and not to push some particular political agenda - other than Godhic Republicanism.
