- Several members of the Anabaptist group here were arrested and tortured.
- December 1527
- Rumors began to spread that the Anabaptists were secretly plotting to overthrow the town's government. The rumors originated with one Hans Zuber who, it was said, ate and drank too much.
1528
- January 1528
- Anabaptist leader Leonhart Lutz was forced to leave town. He later left the Anabaptist movement altogether.
