- Over 1,600 Czech captives were turned over to the Germans who operated the town's silver mines. All were thrown into the mine shafts, "some alive, some first decapitated ... the executioners often being exhausted by the fatigue of slaughter."

- October 1441
- A synod of Hussite clergy was attended by 350 clerics, who acknowledged Jan Rokycana as their leader. The Taborites did not attend.
1485

- The Utraquists and the Catholics met here and agreed to a form of mutual toleration.
