Judge Jan Niemojewski formed an antitrinitarian Anabaptist church around this time. After being baptized by immersion and resigning his judgeship, he freed his serfs, sold his property, and distributed to the poor. With several neighbors he sought to live a life in conformity with the precepts of the Sermon on the Mount.
