- February 1420
- The Taborites who had captured the nearby town of Usti a few days earlier moved to a promontory here which jutted into the Luznica River, forming a natural fortress they named Tabor.
- March 1420
- Jan Zizka and his soldiers arrived here from their headquarters at Plzen. He quickly defeated the local feudal lords and took over the town.
- September 1420
- Mikulas of Pelhrimov was elected bishop.
1421
- 20 April 1421
- Jan Zizka and his Taborite army defeated the fanatical Picards. Twenty-five of them were burned at the stake.
1452

- The Utraquists finally defeated the Taborites and took over the town.
