Web
Design
This
isn't the first page I've had on Geocities.
Back in '97, when I
was a junior and frustrated with what my high school newspaper would and would
not cover, I tried to start an underground newspaper, or zine, on the Internet
that would challenge readers more and rather than cater to the administration or
outside evaluators, deal directly with students interests and with the most
exciting student work being done, not the most traditionally newsworthy. This
site, Subterraneans
(I'll add a link to the original page soon), for all my grandiose
aspirations never really made it off the ground.. ah well.. I did, through
it, learn a great deal about web design... so I'm now working through DePauw
University over the summer doing whatever web design and editing is
necessary. I've made small changes on numerous pages around the DePauw
site, and have created odd pages here and there as needed. I've also
assisted and consulted with faculty and staff about creating pages. The
sites I've made substantial changes on include
Summer 2001 I worked
as the webmaster for the Indiana University Sociology Department, revising the undergraduate
and funding pages.
In highschool I
used this site to host my science
fair project page, and a tape
trading site.
My most recent webwork:
My Winter-Term projects
Oberlin Film Society's website: 2000-2001 year.
