                         Rest awhile and remember...
                         Remember the tears that flowed.
                         Go back and stop
                         The ticking of the clock -  
                         Freeze the moment
                         And hang it as a portrait
                         In the galleries of your mind.
                         Take a look at the little smiles
                         In each brief second 
                         In each brief day
                         That goes unnoticed
                         As well as unthanked.
                         Stop the voyage of the sun
                         Going from east to west
                         And let these memories live forever.
                         After all this,
                         Visit once more a heaven
                         We once knew - 
                         Chatting idly with departed loved ones
                         And old triumphs made new.
                         Let these memories live forever
                         In the galleries of your mind;
                         Smile and remember the days gone by.
