THE SEA by Martin Zialcita There is a darkness A fortress of mist In the empty scene; Appeared before A pervading presence The seekers of joy, Echoing in the air. And a smile Danced on the lips A Spanish Galleon crosses Of the orphaned child. The lonely waters - Searching for land As the ship drew near, In the endless sea. The castle of dreams Faded into the air A child wishes And was swept up For an answer - into the gloomy sky. Lost and helpless In the ocean of The journey continues... Sorrows. And hope is swallowed by the ocean of Orphaned he was, Sorrows. Left alone to drift With the Galleon of Hope - Wanting to leave All sorrows. back to main page
