DON McHAN is an American recording artist whose rich, romantic voice
has echoed consistently from the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina
throughout radio, stage and television. McHAN, also a hit songwriter and
producer, has worked with Country and Gospel bands since his youth, and has
gained the music momentum that has won him audiences from around the globe.
This widely-traveled, yet, homespun, vocalist who masters the strings of, at least,
five instruments, has since childhood, fished the Little Tennesee River and other
channels, explored the mountain and worked the fields of his beloved homeland.
"Dad saw to it that we five boys were well-fathomed in faith, fortitude and the
formulas of music", McHAN expounds, "Dad exemplified all three."
McHAN chuckles as he shares the priceless fact that his first educational toy was a
small, authentic guitar placed in his crib by his insightful, supportive mother.
McHAN later accomplished a formal degree in music from Valdosta, Georgia. This
"rompers-to-radio" genius is a polite, witty and optimistic individualist whose song
invites his listener to a roaring fire within - whose dark eyes sparkle with the dreamdust
of the Star that he obviously is, but of which he is graciously unaware.
