Angers is a medium town in the northwest of France
which was liberated by the 5th Infantry Division after a three day battle, 8-10 August 1944. Below is a list of Killed in Action during this battle. This list is not complete because it was created with lists from American Cemetery and some soldiers' remains were moved to the U.S.A. after the war. Only few names were added according to Units history or others.

Angers est une ville moyenne du nord ouest de la France
qui fut libérée par la 5th Infantry Division après trois jours de combats, du 8 au 10 août1944. Ci-dessous, la liste des tués au combat pendant cette batalille. Cette liste n'est pas complète, elle a été créée avec les listes venant des cimetières militaires américains, mais de nombreux corps ont été, à la demande des familles, transférés aux U.S.A. après la guerre.
Quelques noms ont été ajoutés, car ils sont notés dans les historiques des régiments.
