1. List the different terms in Scripture that identify Heaven. Heaven is a place of blessing, peace, rest, abundant life, knowledge, and fellowship. It is a place of wonderful fellowship with open gates reflecting mercy and peace. It is a bride city, largest ever built. It is a beautiful city, a secure city offering eternal security, and it is a city with gates suggesting salvation by grace.
2. Where are the three heavens located? Who or what are the occupants of each heaven? The first heaven is the atmosphere, the second is outer space, and the third is the dwelling place of God.
3. What is the fourth heaven? Based on Revelation 20, the fourth heaven is the new heaven. In this passage, heaven is used as a singular noun, not plural.
