MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Our Lady of Peace School is to educate youth, stressing potential, academic excellence, Catholic values, and commitment to parish life.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

Parents have an inalienable right to education for their children.
This right includes a responsibility to direct, support and participate in this education throughout the years of responsibility for a growing child. The family home is the first place for education in a child's life in which the child discovers the meaning of Christianity and the reality of God's personal love for the child, as well as the elements of vocabulary and other academic subjects. The continued support of parents in the home environment to monitor a child's progress and assist in the creation and pursuit of life goals through the development process is essential if effective development is to take place.
Your choice of Our Lady of Peace is a sign of your trust in this institution. This trust is an extension of your responsibility to teach your children about God, life and themselves. Your school exists to be a center for Catholic development and influence as many aspects of a child's life as possible; to provide an environment where Catholic values are nourished and enriched; to offer an excellent education in the secular subjects and to prepare children for the widest possible choice of adult roles in tomorrow's society.
