The start of my professional teaching career was at an Elementary School in the city of Jaworzno and then, at the Technical School for Miners in Myslowice, as an instructor of professional subjects. Later on, I worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Dean, dr. Hab. Joahim Strzoda, (a wonderful person to work with), of the University of Economics in Katowice-(Dedicated to Karol Adamiecki). I lost this job because I never became a member of the Communist Party. Following this, I worked for the Department of Culture of the City of Krakow. Late in 1976 - (in the latter part of the fall) - I asssumed a new "position" as a factory worker in Chicago, on O'Klay Street, at the General Dynamic Corporation. Soon I had enough of Chicago's climate, and in 1977, I came to beautiful Florida. Since 1981, I have been working full-time at Miami-Dade Community College. Also, I work as a Crisis Counselor.
