| Don Veinot (pronounced VEE-no) and his wife Joy
have been studying cults, and helping people get out of them, for over
20 years. Together they operate Midwest Christian Outreach, which
publishes a bi-monthly journal, has a live telephone help line (the number
is listed above), distributes helpful literature and tapes, has broadcasted
a weekly apologetics radio program on a Chicago-area FM station (106.7,
WYLL) entitled "Defend the Faith" (currently off-the-air, but tapes of
previous shows are available), and -- when Don, Joy, and the other volunteers
for the ministry have nothing else to do -- helps organize an annual "New
Life in Christ" conference for ex-cultists, and those who are searching
for better answers than the cults offer. |
