I remember the days of past when this was a special time of year for family and friends to gather, holiday music was playing everywhere, children anticipated the trip to visit Santa Claus, and the excitement of Christmas morning never really lasted long enough. But most of all I remember that this was the one time of year everyone was kind and helpful to each other. It sure would be wonderful if this kindness would last throughout the year or better yet, even exist in today's world.

Now there were in the country, shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, the angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to unto them, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring great tidings of great joy which will be to all people. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of host praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"
