FIRST MISSION
Fourteen years of war have hung heavily on the galaxy. With the cession of the General War the Federation and Starfleet have begun the process of rebuilding from their losses, reapplying their resources in their true fields of endeavor, and trying to move passed what they've endured and what they've been forced to be in the midst of this galactic war. Already, the vast number of fleets have been broken up, sent to mothball, out on new patrols, or on to exploration duties. Tensions are still in the air. All sides still see another war as possible, some see it as inevitable. Into these waters a presently refitted U.S.S. Endeavor is being launched. With a new captain and new crew, it reenters service after it's unexplained disapperance late in the war and then reappearance near war's end, minus over 300 crew members. Still recovering and adjusting from, mostly, whole careers of war, the crew prepares to launch and head into the turmoil of the old arts of politics, intrigue, and cold war that lay in all corners of the peaceful quadrant. Enter Captain John Samarra, who faces his first command. An unlikely choice to most, he's proven himself in war and peace to be more then capable officer. Still, some question a captain, or any Federation citizen, whose been more then casual with Klingon society. Under him is a crew of officers, a mix of the ranks of Federation society. Some long to get in the faces of the Klingons again and prove a couple more things. Some would rather qcquiese then face that scenario. Like every other leader of this time, Capatain Samarra must attempt to moderate these mind sets, while continuing on in the Endeavor's mission
