I did not ask to come in this world
of turmoil and pain.
I did not ask to be apart of world, that
knows no peace or love.
You brought me here to live
a life of ups and downs,
A life of struggles and hardships
while trying to survive.
And then you desert me,
leaving me to do on own,
What you couldn't accomplish
in our humble home.
But I have the faith of the Father,
and his light for my guidance,
And through him all is possible
for my life's fresh start.
