Sleepless Nights

Lying awake at night listening to the creeping house.
Tossing and turning, sounds of my roaring spouse.

Wish we all could sleep and rise at the same time.
Then and only then would there be less crime.

We need more love and plenty of hugs.
Embrace everyone including the thugs.

Sunset is here, another day is gone.
How many African Americans dies, hopefully none.
