Our earth. Our environment. Our ecological system.
The home of our wildlife.
With the ever rapid implementation of new technologies, industrialization, deforestation, loss of natural
habitat to our wildlife, this "home" we leave our children,
our future ancestry, is "damaged."
A damaged home cannot nurture healthy children. Nor can a damaged ecological environment nuture a healthy balance of wildlife.
You cannot conquer all issues at once. But you can choose an
issue of particular interest to you -- an animal perhaps that
your child is particularly fond of: study that animal. Find
out if it is endangered, protected, and hopefully, not near
extinction.
This is something you can do with your children. If your
child likes butterflies, might I suggest the Karner Blue,
which is endangered, and which when implemented, you will
find information regarding on this site.
If your son is enchanted with tigers, or snow leopards,
check into the status of these animals. It can be a fun
and rewarding effort on your behalf, and the end result
is that you will be making your children conscious of the
ever increasing need for environmental and ecological
awareness for their future and the future of our
planet -- the home of our children, and our wildlife.
Have fun!!
