Please allow myself to introduce....myself

(yes, I stole the line from Austin Powers)

For now, just call me Derwen (the better looking one on your left is the love of my life, Altaire). I'll be your guide through this site. I'm 22 years old and currently a cadet at the United States Military Academy where I play in our Pipe and Drum band, among other, much less interesting things. I've been playing the pipes for about 4 years now, and am definitely a street level piper (read: a hack). Still, it apparently sounds alright to those who are not competition level judges (except my friend's neighbor, who called the cops on me), and I enjoy it, which are my only two requirements.

Besides piping, my other related hobby and pursuit in life is the Wiccan religion. I have been a practicing eclectic Witch for three years now. In that time, I have been blessed by the Lord and Lady with many wonderful experiences and even more wonderful friends. On many of the pages at my site, you will find pages dedicated to sharing Wicca, magic, and related topics with you. You will also find links to other neopagan sites. If this is your first encounter with the wiccan path, I welcome you, and ask only that you keep an open mind as you wander these pages.

These pages also represent my first html programming attempt, so please bear with me as I continue to learn and [hopefully] straighten out the kinks
