     I sit here now
     Content to see
     This special place
     Out before me

     A time, a person
     A place, a thing
     Just incredible
     To hear the birds sing

     In touch with one’s
     Inner self
     Place to connect
     To gain all wealth

     Where the birds do cry
     And the waters run
     Where the rocks are tall
     Life has begun

     To take from this
     Silent place
     You do destroy
     A losing race

     The leaves have fallen
     The trees are dead
     Lifeless dust
     Compounding dread

     To destroy it all
     For sake of green
     It won’t, can’t work
     So now I plead

     Truly now
     Contemplate
     And then will you
     Appreciate
