     Love is a four letter word 
     That can hurt, repair, create 
     It can do so many things 
     Including devastate 

     Love is an unknown feeling 
     Until you meet that someone just right 
     And even then, tis truly faint 
     Like a leaf in the dark, starless night 

     Love can completely change your life 
     In both good ways and in bad 
     And no glue can patch a heart 
     Perhaps rendering one forever sad 

     Love is a two edged sword 
     Sometimes being a feeling you can’t deny 
     And in the end you’re either very happy 
     Or torn apart and want to cry 

     Love seems like such a simple thing 
     But you never seem to know 
     Until its arrow pierces your heart 
     And then, it’s hard to show
