FORGIVE - A JUVENILIA POEM

When I look in your eyes

and see the love

all of what was said

does not matter

The hurt is gone

and I wish it would

stay away

I always give in to your

smile

and you leave me feeling

weak

all the anger that was

felt

has left

and my heart aches

to be with you

I want to be with you

and leave all the problems

behind

And make the love I

feel for you

real

This poem was composed when I was an angst-ridden 15 year old adolescent. I came across it recently while searching for stuff to put on these pages. I feel it still works even though it was composed during my most tumultuous years.

Now that I think of it - my early twenties weren't a stability party either. :-)
