Delhi Public School, East of Kailash has been a pioneer in introducing computer-aided teaching at the primary school level. Classroom teaching is reinforced with the aid of computers.
There is a well equipped computer lab. The school attempts to maintain a ratio of two students per computer. All computers are multimedia equipped and are connected to four networked printers. Software available to the children includes Paintbrushä , Microsoft Wordä , Powerpointä etc.
Computers are used as tools to teach English, Maths and Science to students of Classes III, IV and V. Simultaneously, computer concepts are also taught. Students are taught the use of spreadsheets and are involved in the formulation of their own assignments and tests. They are also encouraged to access the web for data collection for assorted projects in various disciplines as well as to participate in on-line contests.
