DANCE

In the dance department we try to bring out the innate abilities of the child. Towards this end a lot of emphasis is laid on the grooming of the child in the various dance forms i.e. Classical, Folk and Creative. We have Bharat Natyam Classes as part of our Morning activities in which the children are at present learning pure "Nritya".

We do a lot of folk dancing, which helps the children to participate in groups activities and synchronize their movements. In creative dancing , the children are encouraged to feel the music and move as they feel right. It is one of the activities which children look forward to boys and girls.

MUSIC

Music department comprises of a four member team which readily responds to every cultural activity held in lthe school premises, whether a morning assembly round, a P.T.A cultural function, inter school competition or our Annual day, music dance or plays – our jubilant school choir adorns every event with an irresistible spontaneity.

Children undergo rigorous vocal training, which is a part of their regular music classes. Apart from this they learn songs for various occasions, festival, and look forward very enthusiastically to their presence in the music room.

As a part of the school curriculum, there are selected songs, which are taught across the school. On special occasion the entire school can render rousing musical pieces.

The school boosts of a very competent choir wherein the students & teachers do the school proud.
