"Reading maketh the man"

Our Library is a well-equipped room with a fantastic collection of around 26,000 books. It includes storybooks, reference books and good resource material for teachers and students. It is manned by 3 librarians.

Mission: To develop and encourage the reading habit among students and Teachers.

Activity : Students from classes I to V come to the Library during their Library periods. Every student is given an opportunity to select a book by going to the shelf due to our open access system. They are personally attended to in the selection process. All the reference work and project work is carried out by students and teachers in the school library. Story telling has been introduced recently for classes I, II, and III as part of library activity.

A Resource area for the teachers is maintained which includes resource and reference material as well as fiction.

The students and teachers are involved in the process of selecting books for the School Library.
