We at Delhi Public School - East of Kailash understand clearly the importance of Value Education and have thus incorporated it in the curriculum in many ways - namely through activitiescleaning campaigns, projects  and woven it into the daily school life of our young citizens                                                            whose motto is
"Caring and Sharing"
Activities  - Daily class assemblies with recitations / rhymes and thought for the day
A "value" for the month, has been a very successful activity picked up from the Time Life Series re-inforced and supported by audio visual aids. We have worked on

                      Being Kind
                      Sharing
                      Making Friends
                      Honesty

Children of Class Prep prepared a script themselves showing their awareness and concern for the environment. .......
Commendable !!!!

Cleaning Campaigns - Were undertaken by our youngest members 4 and 5 yr.s old who are made aware of needing to keep the environment clean and safe ---- 'no polybags' - say the tots of Delhi Public School  East of Kailash to all.

Projects : Working on   - on going projects  like a visit to "Salam Balak" an organization caring for street children. We sent old clothes/ toys for them.Collected money through"Fun-Fairs"to send to adopted orphanages in both Indonesia and Yolika ( Russia).
Recently two of our own young class IV employees died in quick succesion and both staff and students alike collected a tidy sum for their families thus learning to be sensitive to another's loss.

Resource Centre : This takes within its fold. Some our own children who need that extra little help to overcome difficulties faced by the differently abled. Their presence teaches the others that we are all different and yet special in our own way - each a valued member of the Delhi Public Family.
