Rock art, the site!

The Canada do Inferno site is on of the most important sites in the Côa Park.

The area is still menaced in winter by the water of the river Douro river.

Horses and cows, palaeolithic style figures over red vertical panels.

A huge gash in the rocky mountain slope:
the foot of the damned dam, now projected to host a museum.

A unique environmental and archaeological victory, we hope forever.
