Welcome back to school!
Almost half way through the school year and I can say it has been very uneventful. This is not a negative comment by any stretch; actually this is quite positive. So what has been happening?.....
1. Dr. Pope has transitioned well. Not much has changed other than people's attitude. It seems a lot less tense this year which is a great thing.
2. Our sports teams have not faired well thus far, but that's not due to the lack of effort by our student athletes. Sports are cyclical and will bounce back nect year.
3. I'm leading the Student Senate and Mock Trial Team. Both activities are well-worth investing your time in. We missed some time starting late, but we need to build for next year.
4.The National History Day Competition is going along at a fair pace. We are getting close to the end.
I look forward to the second half of the year.
