Hi, I am Olga Fomichova !
I am a scientist specialized in cognitive science and education.
I got M.Sc. degree in English and German from the Moscow Pedagogical State University and Ph.D. degree in Philology from the Moscow State Linguistic University in 1990.
Together with my husband, Prof. Vladimir A. Fomichov, I've elaborated a new theory of effective knowledge transfer called the Theory of Dynamic Conceptual Mappings. Proceeding from this theory, I've elaborated new methods of teaching and up-bringing called the Methods of Emotional-Imaginative Teaching.
I've successfully used these methods during 8 years in teaching English (as a foreign language), literature,
poetry to
4-17-year-old children. I taught about three hundred young children and teenagers.
I am the Head of the Studio "Culture, Ecology, and Foreign Languages" at Moscow Children and Teenagers Palace for Creative Work, Kossygin str. 17, Moscow, Russia.
