The Circle of the
Sun Beneath the Sea

        Founded in 1998, the Circle of the Sun Beneath the Sea is a religious organization that follows the tenets of Wicca, commonly known as Witchcraft. We are the Head coven of the Church of the Isles. We are located in the Midcoast region of Maine, providing support, counseling, and minesterial functions to those in need.

        The Circle of the Sun Beneath the Sea, or CSBS, is dedicated to awakening Humanity to the needs of the Earth and it's people. To this end, we perform regular acts of community service, outreach, and we support several local environmental organizations. We believe that the path to healing must begin in love, support, and education.

        Presently led by Circle Leader MacMorrigan and Coven Elders Lunarian Stormbringer and Draagon, the CSBS is currently still in the opening phase of our Circle, gladly accepting new Outer Court and Inner Court members.         As Witches, we practice rites to better attune ourselves with the cycles of Nature and the energies of the Life of the Universe around us. We prize individuality, free expression, and free will, as these are gifts given by the Gods. All Living beings have the right to be as they should be, and to express their potential without interference or harm. The very code that dictates how Witches live supports this by stating "An'it harm none, do what thou will."
