Why when using those codes on the telephone, do they refer to it as a PIN number? The N in PIN stands for Number as in Personal Identification Number. Calling it a PIN Number is like saying Personal Identification Number-Number. Ditto for the ATM machine. That's the same as saying Automatic Teller Machine-Machine. Do you always say everything twice-twice?
