But with so many religions, with so many people thinking that they are the special ones, with so many people thinking that theirs is the best (mine is better than yours and therefore I am better than you), is there any wonder that there are so many wars throughout history in the name of religion?

The world is really a beautiful place ... and every moment is to be treasured. It is full of beauty, melody, and joy ... and every human being is *potentially* beautiful, good, and capable of great joy ... How could it be otherwise, since the Creator put His divine signature on every person. And so from this principle we learn that lamenting and despairing is something that should be alien to the human personality - and instead the ringing principle should be a joyful spirit, a cheerful demeanor, and a heart brimming over with hope, no matter how deep his or her afflictions. My advice? ... If you respect and love what you have, whatever your religion, study and learn its real meaning, and enjoy your garden (it's probably very interesting; I know mine is) ... And if you are searching for truth, and trying your hardest to do the right thing ... to do what is good ... then whatever you achieve (how great or how small), you should be proud of what you accomplish. But just remember now ... you didn't and couldn't do it by yourself ... nobody does ... no way, José ... but that is *another* fascinating subject ... isn't it. And now back to our ... I include this here because I think "evolution" is also has the signs of a religion.Most folks attempt to explain behavior as a response to surroundings ... Now the folks at this site prefer to explain behavior as problem-solving patterns handed down through the ages. Well, you'll find some very interesting reading here, including a rather strong case against eugenics as contrary to evolution and therefore damaging to the race as a whole ... So whether you agree or not, there isn't much on this site that you are bound to read in your daily paper.
