Now here's a word of advice: According to a tip from Netscape themselves (this might be applicable for other browsers as well), it is necessary to reload Netscape occasionally. There are corrupt or missing files that only a reinstall will fix. As a matter of fact, the best way to fix it is to go to the Add/remove software first and take netscape out. This way, you only remove the stuff that Netscape installed leaving your settings, email, bookmarks and addys behind. Now reinstall and you will have everything you had before, and the browser will be in much better health.
