Educational Kiosk

The National Park Service in St. Paul, Minnesota, hired an independent multimedia developer to create an interactive media overview of the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area (MNRRA) that encourages use of the river corridor. They developed an interactive kiosk that presents park visitors with hands-on interactive activities to introduce them to the locations, features, and history of a new national park area. The project is designed with a colorful interface for easy navigation. The area maps were developed from accurate geographical databases. There are digital video "fly-overs" of important park areas as well as educational interactive activities.
