Writing Level: How difficult was it to read?
- Children's- Short simple sentences, lots of pictures, large text, short over-all, rhythm, and rhyme. e.g. Dr Seuss, Shel Silverstein, Maurce Sendek.
- Young Adult - longer and more complicated stories, larger vocabulary. e.g."Babysitter" books, "Goosebumps"
- Light Adult - popular novels, full length stories, quick read, light popcorn reading, easy to read, uncomplicated, simple concepts, 200-300 pages
- Heavy Adult - esoteric novels, long complicated stories, difficult to read, requires some thought. e.g. Tolken, Delany, John Crowley. 400-600 pages
- Very Heavy - Samuel Delany -Dalgren, Das Capital in a bad translation. Wittig -The lesbian body.
Content: Did it have any controversal content? Was it child safe or not child safe?
Writing skill: How well written was it? Poor, Fair, OK, Good, Excellent?
