With a wooden spoon, combine butter and boiling water. Add 1 Tablespoon of orange rind, a 1/2 cup of orange juice.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg, and sugars together.
In another separate bowl combine the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
Add the egg mixture and orange juice mixture alternately into the flour mixture. Fold in the blueberries.
Bake in a 9" x 5" (lightly greased and flour dusted) bread pan for 50 minutes in a 350 degree oven. (Or if using 3 mini loaf pans, bake in a 350 degree oven for about 35 minutes.)
(Special Note: All ingredients for the batter may be combined in the same bowl. Yet if making for ritual use, it is best to use the 3 sepatate bowls.)
Allow the bread to cool for 9 minutes, turn out of the pan and drizzle with the following glaze topping:
