Italian Breaded Kale

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Rinse the kale and tear into bite sized pieces, discard stalks.
  2. Bring salted water to a boil and add kale.
  3. Cover and cook until kale is just tender.
  4. Add oil, garlic bread crumbs and cheese, stir lightly and cook for about 3-4 minutes.

Theory of the Dish

I found this recipe in "A World Of Vegetable Cookery" by Alex D Hawkes. I use more cheese and bread crumbs than he does. It's a good use of kale.
