Adoption Myths…

Unwanted pregnancy… Couple unable to have own child… Solution… birthmother gives child to adoptive parent. Everyone lives happily ever after.
Birthmother is insignificant in the life of her child after relinquishment.
Birthmother will forget the child after a period of time and move on with her life as if the child never existed.
An adopted child will feel a biological connection to his/her adopted family if they are treated as if they were not adopted.
Love is enough
