BUCKLEW FAMILY ASSOCIATION
Many Buck?lew (Buccleuch, Bucklew, Buckelew, Buckalew, Buckallew, Buck_loo, ad infinitum) cousins have found each other in the last few years, and we have several very enjoyable ways of sharing information.
In addition to the website, there are now three Buck?lew e-mail correspondence lists: BUCCLEUCH-L, BUCKLEW-L, and BUCKALEW-L. Think of these lists as on-going newsletters. Their purpose is to facilitate communication between all who have an interest in Buck?lew genealogy. How do these lists work? To send a message, simply compose your e-mail as you normally do, then address it to <BUCCLEUCH-L@rootsweb.com>, <BUCKLEW-L@rootsweb.com>, and/or <BUCKALEW-L@rootsweb.com>. All messages sent to one or all three of these addresses will automatically be copied to all members on the subscription list or lists. Your e-mail address will be shown as the sender. Here's how to subscribe: Send a message to BUCKLEW-L-request@rootsweb.com (same procedure for the other two lists) that contains (in the body of the message) the command subscribe (but without quotation marks) and no additional text and no signature. Also, you don't need anything in the subject line either, unless your software requires it. After you subscribe, you'll receive a "welcome" letter, telling you how to unsubscribe and how to post messages to the List. Also, you will begin immediately to receive all messages that are posted to the list or lists. There are no subscription fees. |
